Unit 3 «ANIMALS ”

En esta unidad conoceremos la diferencia entre los animales vertebrados 

e invertebrados y las características de los mamíferos, peces, aves, reptiles, 

anfibios e insectos .En esta ficha se recoge el vocabulario y las estructuras 

que el alumnado debe aprender junto con unos enlaces de vídeos que serán 

de utilidad para repasar los contenidos estudiados.

 USEFUL STRUCTURES:

 Vertebrates have got an internal skeleton made up of bones. Invertebrates haven’t got an internal skeleton.  (Los vertebrados tienen un esqueleto interno hecho de huesos. Los invertebrados no tienen equeleto).

• Mammals, birds, fish, reptiles and amphibians are vertebrates . (Los mamíferos, las aves, los peces, los reptiles y los anfibios son vertebrados).

• Mammals are viviparous. (Los mamíferos son vivíparos).

• Birds, fish, reptiles and amphibians are invertebrates. (Las aves, los peces, los reptiles y los anfibios son vertebrados).

• Insects are invertebrates with six legs and two antennae. (Los insectos son invertebrados con seis patas y dos antenas).

Now what you have to do is make your own LAPBOOK . Here you are some examples:

Remember to include on it the main characteristics of each group, giving some examples of different animals within the animal classification and also, talk about what they eat, I mean, if they are carnivores,herbivores or omnivores and where they live in, that´s to say, state in which habitat they live in too,that is: if they life in the ocean, sea,lake,river, mountains, savannah, raincoast, desert, forest, farm,etc. 

Recuerda incluir en él las principales característimcas de cada uno de los grupos, dando algunos ejemplos de difentes animales dentro de esta clasificación animal y también hablar sobre que es lo que comen, me refiero a si son carnívoros, herbívoros u omnívoros y donde viven, es decir, indicar en qué hábitat viven también, esto es, si viven en el océano,mar,lago,río, montaña, savana, selva, desierto, bosque, granja,etc.
